Aluminum powder asphalt anti rust paint for ship bottom
Composed of coal tar asphalt, aluminum powder and other rust resistant pigments, physical pigments, coal tar solvents, etc.
Main characteristics
Good wettability for steel;
Has good wet adhesion;
Has excellent rust prevention performance;
Has excellent water resistance and good alkali resistance;
The paint film contains a large amount of aluminum powder, which has a certain degree of resistance to atmospheric exposure;
The paint film has poor heat resistance.
Product Usage
Suitable for use as an anti rust primer on the bottom of ships, as well as for anti-corrosion of submerged facilities such as condensation pipelines, dock pontoons, and water tanks.

Appearance: Silver brown, with variable color tones and smooth paint film.
Construction parameters
Dry film thickness: 40 μ M
Wet film thickness: 75 μ M
Drying time (23 ℃): surface drying ≤ 3h, actual drying ≤ 24h
Suggested number of coats: 2, with a dry film thickness greater than 80 μ M
surface treatment
Steel with oxide skin: sandblasted to Sa2 level
Oxygenated skin free steel: polished to St3 grade with an elastic grinding wheel
Steel coated with workshop primer: secondary rust removal of paint film damage and rust, polished to St3 level.
Welding, flame cutting, or flame correction of burnt areas: polished to St3 level.
The substrate temperature must be 3 ℃ above the dew point.
The relative humidity shall not exceed 85%.
Coating method: Airless spraying, air spraying, roller coating/brush coating
